Metadata Cleaner is built by SO Labs to help people remove hidden metadata from photos before sharing them. Metadata Cleaner processes photos locally on your device. The app does not require an account, does not upload photos to SO Labs servers, and does not sell or share personal data.

Photos And Metadata

When you choose photos, Metadata Cleaner reads the selected images so it can detect and remove metadata such as location information, camera details, device information, dates, software tags, and file details.

Cleaned photos are created as new output files. Your original photos are not modified by the app.

Data Collection

Metadata Cleaner does not collect personal data from you.

The app does not collect:

• Photos
• Location data
• Contact information
• Identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Crash analytics
• Advertising data
• Tracking data

Some Pro features may save preferences and recent cleaning summaries locally on your device. This information is used only to make the app work and is not sent to SO Labs.

In-App Purchases

Metadata Cleaner Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store payment system. SO Labs does not receive your payment card details.

Third Parties

Metadata Cleaner does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Metadata Cleaner is not designed to collect information from children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Security

Because photo processing happens locally, your selected photos do not need to leave your device for metadata cleaning.

Changes To This Policy

SO Labs may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
